Agnes is survived by her daughter, Dianne Street Cates and her husband, Jan, of Charlotte NC; her granddaughters, Mary Scott Senan and her husband, David, of Seattle Washington; Virginia Street Watkins and her husband, Jonathan Becker, of Piedmont California; great-grandchildren, Wilson Peter Senan, Suzanne Street Senan, and Elizabeth Watkins Senan of Seattle Washington and William Hezekiah Becker and Elliott Watkins Becker of Piedmont California. One brother, William Walter Johnson predeceased her. His wife, Mary survives.
Mrs. Street, along with her husband, owned and operated E. R. Street Co., the oldest, family-owned department store in the state of Kentucky. The enterprise had been in the Street family for about 150 years. Mrs. Street closed the business after her husband, Edward Roberts Street’s death. With her grandchildren, Mary Scott Senan and Virginia Watkins and her daughter, Dianne Cates, Agnes traveled in Europe. The grandchildren have many funny stories to tell of the adventure.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of the Cadiz Christian Church in Cadiz Kentucky.
