Wilda Underwood, 71, was driving south on Highway 139 and was trying to turn onto Delmont Church Road, but failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle driven by Roxanne Graff, 19, who was driving north on Highway 139, Paull wrote.
Underwood’s pickup truck hit Graff’s vehicle’s driver’s side front quarter panel, and Graff’s vehicle spun from the impact and stopped against a utility pole, and both drivers, as well as Graff’s passenger, Miranda Hudlow, 18, were injured, said Paull.
The Trigg County Emergency Medical Service and the Trigg County Rescue Squad removed all three victims and sent them to Trigg County Hospital, but Underwood was later flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, according to Paull.
All three were wearing seatbelts, Paull’s report indicated.
