According to Ranch Director Jerry Wagner, “No fee is charged to the children attending as we rely on memberships, individual and corporate donations, along with fundraisers sponsored by various Sheriffs, to supply the needs. Over 30,000 youth have now received a free weeks’ summer camp experience thanks to the programs offered by the Boys and Girls Ranch. The continued support of Kentucky’s citizens, businesses and organizations greatly needed and deeply appreciated.”
Fun and excitement await the campers and we hope to give each child a week full of memories! We have gifts for each child to bring home, lots of programs and activities (arts and crafts, swimming, nature programs, sports, pony rides, etc.) to ensure their fun and learning while at camp. Activities and programs this year are designed to teach the children respect for themselves and others… thus, our theme: R-E-S-P-E-C-T…Have a bundle, give a bundle.”
