The art show was a successful event, largely because of Mrs. Charly Morgan’s excellent coordination of the event with the curator of Adsmore, Ms. Ardall Jarratt. , Mrs. Jinna Bower, WAG/TLC Secretary and past Guild President, gave a talk about the creation of the Guild, its goals, progress and accomplishments. Members of the Watercolor Guild welcomed the opportunity to share their art with the public. They were rewarded with a number of paintings and cards sold. In appreciation, the Guild donated l0% of the sale proceeds to the Adsmore restoration fund.
During the summer months the Guild will hold no formal meetings, but will meet on the first and third Monday of each month for informal painting sessions. Anyone who is interested in painting with watercolors, is invited to come to the respective library and join the guild members.
On the first Monday at 9:30 A.M. members meet at the John L. Street Library on Main Street in Cadiz, Kentucky.
On the third Monday at 9:30 A.M., the guild meets at the George Coon Library in Princeton, Kentucky.
