Beta Nu has busy fall

Beta Nu Chapter met Tuesday, July 7 at the Fellowship Hall of the Cadiz Christian Church with Kathy Jimenes serving as hostesses. ?Minutes and treasurer’s report were read and approved. ?Devotion was given by Lisa Strader. ?

In old business, Mindy Hargrove reported that the final tally of St. Jude Mathathon money from Crofton Elementary School was $624.20 with 17 children participating.?Beta Nu will be hosting the Kentucky State Council Fall Board Meeting on September 26 in the Fellowship Hall. Discussion was held on meal possibilities.

The Christian Women’s Fellowship will be catering and serving the meal. ?The theme for the meeting will be “Harvesting Generosity”.

Plans were made for a two person, two teams playing together, ?golf scramble on September 27 at Boots Randolph Golf Course. ?Cost will be $65.00 per person. ?Proceeds from this will go to the Angel Tree. ?It is expected that there will be more children on the trees than in the past. ?

Tentative dates of October 23 & 24 were set to have a Picture fundraiseer. ?Mrs. Hargrove will be getting everything finalized by the August meeting.

Jody Brewer, Educational Director, has chosen “Getting To Know You” as the theme for educationals this year. This is to get to know each of our members a little better. ?Mindy Hargrove gave a mini autobiography, which members found informative and entertaining!

The next meeting will be August 4 with Nancy Moore and Inga Thomas as hostesses.

Beta Nu Chapter, ESA, meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Cadiz Christian Church.
