Bro. Studie named interim pastor at Oak Grove Baptist

Bro. Jack Studie will begin his service as interim pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church on Aug. 2. The day’s events will begin with Sunday school at 9 a.m. Morning Worship follows at 10 a.m. A fellowship meal will be held tow welcome the Studies following the evening worship service.

In his 32 years of pastoral experience Studie has pastured four churches. Most recently, he pastured Pembroke Baptist Church in Pembroke for more than nine years. He has also pastured churches in Mayfield and Wickliffe, Ky., and a church in Conran, Mo.

Bro. Studie and his wife, Judy, lead tours to the Holy Land and other parts of he world. He currently serves on the missions development committee of the Kentucky Baptist Association’s Disaster Relief Ministries. They have participated in mission projects through the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Missions Board and North American Missions Board.

The Studies have a daughter, a son, and a granddaughter.
