Mr. Okeley died at 2:11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Regional Medical Center, Madisonville of natural causes.
Mr. Okeley was born June 12, 1942 in Hammond, Ind. He was the son of the late William Okeley, Sr., and Olive Pelsor Okeley.
Mr. Okeley was a veteran of the navy, Vietnam Active Duty 1959-1963. He was a Structural Ironworker out of local #395. He was a member of the American Legion #502.
Survivors include his wife Joan S. Okeley of Cadiz, one son Parrish Okeley of Clinton, Ky.; two daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia and Steve Andrysiak of Valparaiso, Ind., and Angela Okeley and Rico Franklin of Hawthorne, Cal.; three stepsons, Henry Lorenz, of Indianapolis, Ind., Chad and Pam Lorenz, of Mishawaka, Ind., and Kevin Lorenz of North Liberty, Ind., three grandchildren, Devin, CJ and April, one brother and sister-in-law, James and Jean Okeley of Monticello, Ind., two sisters and brother-in-law, June and Gene Ingram of Hebron, Ind. And Mary and Gilbert Davis of Rathdrum, Ind.
