Tony Flynn, 55, of Elkton, passed away at 3:04 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of a short illness. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 at Light-house Church in Hop-kinsville, with Pastor Terry Hancock officiating. Burial followed at Henderson Cemetery in Hopkinsville.

Flynn was born April 19, 1954, in Hopkinsville, the son of Miles. O. Flynn and Stella Flynn, both of Hopkinsville.

Flynn was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Hopkinsville, and was the shipping supervisor for Douglas Auto Tech and has also previously been employed by Freudenberg and Ferrell’s in Hopkinsville.

Survivors include his parents as well as his wife of 19 years Phyllis Ann Flynn of Elkton, his daughters Tracey Lawrence of Cadiz and Kim Ennis of Cadiz, his step sons Charlie and George Daniel of Elkton and his sisters Sondra Bastin of Hopkinsville and Patty Farris of Crofton.

He is also survived by his three grandchildren Chris Lawrence of Cadiz, Stillton Broadbent of Cadiz and Alivia Ennis of Cadiz, and his five step grandchildren Alana Daniel of Pembroke, Gavin and Gage Fowler of Hopkinsville, Dayton Jones of Hopkinsville and Preston Milburn of Hopkinsville.
