Trigg County Hospital was notified they have received three recognition awards by Avatar International, the hospital’s patient satisfaction survey vendor. The first award was Overall Best Performer National Award for year 2008. This National Award is presented to the top 5% of high performing hospitals in Avatar’s database that demonstrate consistency of experiences by patients throughout the organization for care. The criterion for receiving the award is the highest overall combined scores from Avatar’s Patient Satisfaction Survey for Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Ambulatory Surgery. A second recognition award was given for Exceeding Patient Expectations National Award for 2008. This award is based on quality of care, reliability, and customization before the hospital visit. Trigg County Hospital’s third award was Avatar’s Five Star Service – Inpatient National Award for 2008 for the highest score with a particular patient type.
