The Midcats won 18-14 in the first contest, and the “B” team won 16-6.
In the first game, Trigg scored on a nine-yard pass from Luke McKenzie to Keshawn Davis. McKenzie later connected with Quentin Bird on a 60-yard score and a 30-yard score.
Trigg outgained Christian 171 yards to 93.
In the “B” game, Daniel ingram scored on a 40-yard run, and Davis ran in the two-pointer. Davis then connected with Brandon Schafer on a 22-yard touchdown and the ensuing two-point try.
Trigg was scheduled to play Tuesday against North Drive (results unavailable at press time) and begin tournament play next week.
