Graveside services for Ruth Mansker, 84 of Christian Care Center of Kuttawa were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

The Rev. Don Bunch officiated at the services. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Mansker died at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Christian Care Center of Kuttawa after a long illness.

Mrs. Mansker was born on November 8, 1924 in Bloomfield, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late James Earcil and Ruby Jane Peck Powers.

Mrs. Mansker was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel “Buck” Mansker, one daughter Patricia Jane Fox, one great grandson and three sisters, Luella Mae Gratton, Alice Lois Jesse and Earcil Lee Allen.

Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Robert “Bobbylee” and Jane Gray, of Cadiz; two sisters, Betty Jean Pantonio Degrote, of Pomona, Cal., June Johnson, of Cal., two grandsons and one great grandson.
