Funeral services for Jackie Sedberry, 53, of Cadiz, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, with the Rev. Lester Watson officiating. Burial followed at Robertson–Hite Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mr. Sedberry died at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at his Cadiz residence of natural causes.

Mr. Sedberry was born on Sunday, Oct. 7, 1956, in Princeton, to the late John L. “Jack” Sedberry and the late Maggie Pearl (Agent) Sedberry.

Mr. Sedberry was employed with Southern Exterminators and was retired from Mobil Oil.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sedberry was preceded in death by his sister Betty May Garland.

Survivors include his wife Shelah (Meredith) Sedberry of Cadiz, his son Lucas Sedberry of Cadiz, and his four daughters Melissa, Kimberly, Stacey and Jennifer Sedberry, all of Cadiz.

He is also survived by his four sisters Linda and Genia Wagner of Cadiz, Dee Dee Berrios of Miami, Fla., and Lois Brown of Springfield, Tenn., and his grandchild Kamerah Cavanaugh.
