Charles Anthony James, 34, of Hephizibah, Georgia, will be charged wiht first degree robbery, a class B felony, and auto theft over $500, a class D felony, the report stated.
The suspect was armed with a knife and forced his way into the home of Roberta Meadows, taking money and a cell phone from Meadows and her daughter, Connie Thomas of Kuttawa, before leaving in Thomas's 2007 Honda Accord, which bore the Kentucky tag 728-ELG, according to police reports.
It was determined that James was a suspect in a home invasion that occurred in Jones County, Ga., on Tuesday, Dec. 29, through investigation and cooperation with the Jones County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshall's Office, reports said.
