Dorothy Beryl Stanchak, 89, of Cadiz, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at her home in Cadiz. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stanchak was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of England.

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Brooks of Cadiz; one sister, Goldie Jauncey of Peterborough, England; three grandchildren, Ray Rogers of Chipley, Fla., Paul Frank Rogers of Savannah, Ga., and Emily V. Brooks of Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by husband Paul Frank Stanchak, son Richard Paul Stanchak and daughter Sylvia Stanchak. Her parents were Donald and Isabella Mathie McMillan.
