Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Choate officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Mr. Bond was born October 23, 1926 in Lebanon, Tenn., the son of the late Charlie and Minnie Lee Haley Bond. He retired after 32 years at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Ind. Floyd was a veteran in the US Army.
Survivors include his son, Charles Bond of Cadiz; two daughters, Rebecca Porter and Judy Smith both of Cadiz; a brother, George Thomas Bond of Protage Ind., three sisters, Helen Hinkle of Hammond, Ind., Ruth Wheeler of Crown Point, Ind., and Christine Bond of Cadiz, and six grandchildren.
