Mr. Thomas died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at VA Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran, a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, VFW, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Susan Thomas of Hopkinsville and Bryan Thomas of Hopkinsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Nina and Frank Alderson of Cadiz; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Eunice Thomas of Cadiz; three grandchildren, Tyler Adams, Bailey Thomas and Mike Thomas, Jr..
He was preceded in death by his father, Preston H. Thomas, and mother, Mary (Bridges) Thomas; and two brothers, Harry Thomas and Buster James Thomas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Carl Sumner, Ray Burnam, Ray Grasty, Robert Brown, Dennis Thomas, Bruce White and Monty Stagner.
