Cannon, Jessup selected as 2010 Relay Survivor Honorary Co-Chairs

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Team Captains and Committee have selected Brother Paul Cannon and Carlene Jessup to serve as honorary co-chairs for the 13th annual Relay For Life of Trigg County.

Bro. Cannon is a 16 month cancer survivor and Carlene Jessup is a three year survivor. Both have been involved in Trigg County’s Relay For Life previously and have helped raise awareness about cancer issues. Their positive attitudes and spirit are an inspiration to all.

Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society’s national signature event, celebrates the lives of those who have battled cancer, remembers those lost and empowers individuals to fight back against the disease. This family-oriented team event brings participants from all parts of the community together in a “celebration of life.”

The Relay For Life of Trigg County takes place in Cadiz on Friday and Saturday at Trigg County High School’s Perdue Field. The opening ceremony begins at 5:45 p.m. For more information about this event, call the American Cancer Society at
