The Rev. Dr. Hilda Bentley officiated the service. Burial followed in East End Cemetery.
Mr. Jefferson died of natural causes at 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2010 at his residence in Cadiz.
Mr. Jefferson was born Tuesday, May 10, 1921, in Cadiz. He was the son of the late John Percy Jefferson, Sr., and the late Lena Jones Jefferson.
Mr. Jefferson was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Thomas Jefferson.
