Rain put a dent in Trigg County’s softball schedule last week, preventing two games from being played. The Lady Wildcats lost 13-0 at Livingston Central on Thursday and were unable to play Saturday against Murray or Monday at Paducah Tilghman.

The Lady Cardinals scored eight runs (three unearned) in the first inning and never looked back. Lauren Daniel pitched a complete game for Trigg, striking out two and walking two, and recorded the Lady ‘Cats’ only hit of the day.

Trigg was scheduled to play Tuesday at Caldwell County (results unavailable at press time) before hosting University Heights Academy on Thursday, Hopkinsville on Friday and playing at Madisonville North Hopkins on Monday.
