The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Cadiz on Tuesday June 1st from 12 noon until 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of St. Stephens Catholic Church. St. Stephens is located on highway 68 west, 1/2 mile west of Countryside Restaurant.

Donor Appreciation Drive: Donate blood at the Red Cross blood drive and help the heart beat to go on for up to three patients, perhaps a family member, neighbor. There will be a drawing for a Wal-Mart Gift Card and a $50.00 Savings Bond from Bank of Cadiz.

Summers here and the Red Cross mission is to prepare for the unexpected. Blood has to be donated, tested, processed, and available to the hospital before the patient needs it. That’s why it’s so important that Trigg county residents give at this blood drive. Volunteer blood donors will be required to provide identification prior to donating blood. The preferred identifier for donors is a current drivers license or a Red Cross blood donor card issued to the donor. Without identification, a prospective donor will not be permitted to donate.

Normally it takes about an hour to give blood, but your donation can add years to the life of someone in need. The process includes registration and completion of a medical questionnaire, confidential mini-physical with a Red Cross health historian. Blood donation (no longer than 10 minutes), and canteen, where refreshments are available to replenish lost fluid.

Lets make this a great Blood Drive!
