Funeral services with full military honors for Kenneth Holloway, 71, of Cadiz, were held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Interment followed at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

Mr. Holloway passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz. He was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church.

He retired from the U.S. Navy and Kentucky State Department of Corrections. He was also a member of American Legion, Fleet Reserve, National Rifle Association and a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Jane (Hendricks) Holloway of Cadiz; mother Lucille Holloway of Dawson Springs; four daughters and son-in-law, Theresa Combs of Cadiz, Tracey DeHart Gresham of Cerulean, Cynthia Holloway of Jacksonville, Fla., and Samantha and Kendal Gresham of Cerulean; four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tammy DeHart of Gracey, Norman Eddie DeHart of Cadiz, Robert J. and Pat Knight of Hopkinsville, and Michael and Leota Holloway of Cadiz; one sister, Joan Davenport of East Gary, Ind.; three brothers, Michael Holloway of Princeton, Mark Holloway of Henderson and Jeff Holloway of Dozier, Ala.; mother-in-law Agnes Aleshire of Cadiz; 21 grandchildren, Johnathan McCoy, Kenneth McCoy, Joseph McCoy, James Mitchell, Trenton Mitchell, Ashley Keller, Danielle DeHart, Curtis Gresham, Randah Gresham, Jeremy DeHart, Zeb DeHart, Timmy Knight, Jennifer Knight, Robert Lee Knight, A.J. Knight, Stacey Knight, Michael David Holloway, Clint Holloway, Lauren Holloway, Ethen Fuller and Kayla Gresham; eight great-grandchildren, Noah McCoy, Morgan McCoy, Lanie Keller, Kaylin Keller, Savannah Riddle, Tyler Holder, Caden Gresham and Jacob Knight.

He was preceded in death by his father George Cash Holloway and brother Don Holloway.

Music was provided by Heather Leek, vocalist. Honorary pallbearers were Phil Parker, Glenn Haeberlin, Bill Henderson, Charlie Holt, Vance Lockhart, Hobert Huddleston, Rick Pershing, Tony Harper, Fred Richardville and Charles Carlen.
