I want to take this opportunity to brag on the Boy Scouts, especially Troop 57. I see them around town helping out with various projects. A couple of times helping with the Cadiz Cruz-In, and most recently, they have helped Southern Kentucky Independent Theatre, (SKIT) with the set for Oliver and The Foreigner.
These guys work hard and are very cheerful and eager. I am pleased that they are involved with our community. They deserve a great deal of recognition, praise and encouragement. When you see them (and their scout leaders), please tell them how much you appreciate them.
Their help with hauling the Oliver sets in and out of the school was invaluable. Their many hands made quick work of a very tedious and hot task. I can’t thank them enough. Our community is a better place today because of this scout troupe and it will be a better place in the future because of them.
