Mrs. Fowler died of a long illness at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2010 at her home in Caldwell County.
She was born March 13, 1915 in Trigg County to the late Porter Mason and Leotis Sanders King.
She was a charter member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church in Eddyville and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ovid Fowler; three sisters, Addie Lee Hyde Mathis, Grace Williamson, Lucille Griffin; three brothers, Jewel, J.D. and Millard King; one son, Ray Fowler; and one grandchild, Michael Henderson.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Ethel Jones of Cadiz; one son, Bennie Fowler (and wife Nanda) of Caldwell County; two daughters, Wanda Humphries (and husband Jewell) of Hopkinsville, Joyce Henderson (and husband Wayne) of Eddyville; one daughter-in-law, Sue Fowler of Caldwell County; five grandchildren, Lisa and Sherry Humphries, Stephanie Griffith, Stacey Kilgore, Lori Fowler; four great grandchildren, Tanner and Benji Kilgore, Zack Griffith and Adam Humphries; and several nieces and nephews.
