The missing persons report forced the activation of the county’s One Call Now system. Deputy Kenneth E. Butts of the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department investigated the missing child report, which was later reclassified as a runaway child report.
Trigg County officials activated the county’s alert system after the juvenile’s bicycle was found in the Rockcastle community, and she was missing for 4 – 5 hours before she was found.
No Amber Alert was issued for the juvenile, Trigg County law enforcement said.
