Funeral services for Anne Simpson, 67, of Cerulean, were held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Hank Cayce officiated. Burial followed at Ceru-lean Ceme-tery.

Mrs. Simpson passed away of natural causes at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at her residence in Cerulean. She was born Wednesday, June 30, 1943 in Cerulean to Alton Edward and Josephine Hale Kirby

She worked as the Deli Manager at Hancock’s Neighborhood Market in Cadiz. She was a member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband of 49 years Charles Simpson of Cerulean; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Lori Simpson of Cerulean; daughter Teresa Simpson of Cadiz; and grandchild Brittany Simpson of Cerulean.

Pallbearers were Glenn Smiley, Kenneth Smiley, Jackie Davis, Glenn Simpson, Danny Stewart, Denny Mize, Jim Mize and Ronnie Blakely.

Honorary pallbearers were Mallory Lawrence, Maryetta Anderson, Mary Nunley, Patsy Hammond, Brenda Mathis, John Young, Ashley Young and Pam Outland.

Music at the service was provided by Marti Lopez, pianist.
