Keith Staley, 59, of Oak Grove, was traveling east on the U.S. 68 bypass in a Chevrolet Trailblazer and Danny Sisco, 49, of Elkton, was traveling west on the U.S. 68 bypass in a Chevrolet Cavalier with a passenger, Megan Sisco, 18, of Elkton, the report said.
Staley tried to turn left onto U.S. 68 business, or Main Street, and struck the Cavalier on the driver’s side, closing down the westbound lanes of the U.S. 68 bypass for about an hour, said the report.
All three were taken to Trigg County Hospital, and Megan Sisco was later flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., but Danny Sisco was pronounced dead at the hospital by Trigg County Coroner John Mark Vinson, the report stated.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department, the Cadiz Police Department, Trigg County Rescue and Trigg County Emergency Medical Service assisted at the scene, said the report, which indicated that all three were wearing safety belts.
