The Golden Pond Visitor Center will be open 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 31, closed on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, and the Administrative Office will also be closed Friday, Dec. 31, in observance of New Years Day.
The Elk & Bison Prairie, Wranglers Campground, Energy Lake Campground, and Turkey Bay OHV Area & Trails will remain open during the holidays. Please “Call Before You Haul” (270-924-2000) or visit www.lbl.org and click on Alerts & Notices to check on any trail closures due to wet weather conditions.
Land Between The Lakes is managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, in partnership with “Friends of LBL,” to provide public lands outdoor recreation and environmental education.
