Ms. Oliver died following a long illness at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Pembroke Health and Rehab Center.
She was born October 8, 1930 in Lyon County to the late Floyd Earl Oliver and Maggie Thompson Oliver.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie Earl Gray and Bessie Banister; one brother, R. B. Oliver; and one son, Ronald Dale McVickers.
Survivors include three brothers, Bobby Oliver of Henderson, Herbert Oliver of Princeton and Doug Oliver of Newton, Ill., one sister, Christine Castle of Hopkinsville;
six sons, Roger Oliver of Albion, Ill., Robert McVickers of Lyon County, Richard Brown of Trigg County, Randy Brown of Clarksville, Tenn., Tony Oliver of Princeton and Bill Oliver of Lyon County; two daughters, Kay Givens of Quality and Kathy Breedlove of Kuttawa; 23 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
