Mrs. Hargrove passed away, Thursday, December 23, 2010, at 1:40 p.m. at her home. She was born to the late William Henry and Rebecca (Recie) Theresa Kilgore Futrell on April 27, 1917.
She was a member of the former Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church. She retired from Elk Brand Manufacturing Company in Cadiz.
Mrs. Hargrove was preceded in death by her parents; husband Henry Hargrove, daughter Helen Hargrove, sisters Edna Page, Ruby Berkley, Cozy Cooper, Lucille French and brother Leon Futrell.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelby L. Freeman (Milton) of Murray; son Tommy Hargrove (Sandra) of Almo; sister, Velma Louise Berkley Pope of East Peoria; grandchildren Rickey Thomas Hargrove (Brenda Edwards) of New Concord, Corey Shannon Hargrove (Brittany) of Almo; step grandchild Ronnie Thompson of Almo; great-grandchildren Austin Hargrove, Ashley Hargrove and Courtney Jean Hargrove; step-great grandchildren Calum, Chole and Cameron and several nieces and nephews.
