Funeral services for Eva Ellaree Romine Felker,90, of Rogersville, Ala., were held Monday, January 24, 2011 at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, Ala. The Revs. Warren Glass and David Cox officiated. Burial followed in the Civitan Cemetery.

Mrs. Felker died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her residence.

She was born September 18, 1920 in Lauderdale County Alabama. She was an avid gardener, artist and homemaker, as well as a member of West Rogersville Church of Christ in Rogersville, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Johnny) Felker.

She is survived by one sister, Edna Lauderdale (and husband Howard) of Florence, Ala.; three daughters, Judy Vaughn (and husband Wayne) of Athens, Ala., Kathy Kerstiens (and husband Tom) of Killen, Ala., and Debbie Darnall (and husband Steve) of Cadiz; two sons, Jimmy Felker of Minor Hill, Tenn., and Ricky Felker (and wife Jeanie) of Rogersville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren, Karla Henson (and husband Kevin), Molly Wilson (and husband Stuart), Shannon Felker (and wife Anna), Dianna Ritter (and husband Brad), Stacey Felker, LTJG Ty Kerstiens, USN, Sr.A Bradley Darnall ASAF, Shawn Felker, Jake Kerstiens, Lindsey Darnall and Jonathan Darnall; six great grandchildren, Claudia, Micah, and Eli Henson, Caroline and Samuel Henson and Ryder Felker; soon to be twin great grandsons, Bo and Blake Ritter; and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbeares were Kevin Henson and Brad Ritter. Pallbearers were Shannon Felker, Ty Kerstiens, Jake Kerstiens, Bradley Darnall and Jonathan Darnall.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Shoals or the American Cancer Society.
