Mr. Allen passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Birdsong of Cadiz; nephew Jason Birdsong of Madisonville; nieces Karen Thorpe of Cadiz and Teresa Birdsong of Hendersonville, Tenn.; five great nieces and nephews, Stephanie Thorpe, Zachary Thorpe, Abby Birdsong, Jared Birdsong and C. J. Adkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud Thomas and Mallie Pearl Allen, brother William Allen and sister Mavis Allen.
