Funeral services for Mosco Edward “Ed” Caldwell,74, of Cadiz, were held Saturday, February 26, 2011. The Rev. Jamus Redd officiated. Burial followed at Siloam Cemetery in Trigg County. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Caldwell died of natural causes at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Trigg County Hospital.

He was born March 15, 1936 in Cobb to the late Louis Franklin and Ethel Brummett Caldwell.

He was a member of the Cadiz United Methodist Church. He retired as the owner operator of Lake Barkley Continuous Guttering. He was a former member of the Cadiz Bass Club.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Alexander Caldwell of Cadiz; one brother, J. L. Caldwell (and wife Joyce) of Gracey; one sister, Carolyn Hutchison of Hopkinsville; Three daughters, Tammy Cain (and husband Todd) of Cadiz, Sonya Forbes (and husband Danny) of Hopkinsville and Misty Reddick (and husband Danny) of Cadiz; 11 grandchildren, Justin Cain, Joshua Cain, Carol Ann Jackson, Elijah Daniel Forbes, Abby Grace Forbes, Danielle Reddick, Daniel Reddick, John Reddick, Sarah Reddick, Isaiah Reddick and Rebecca Reddick.

Pallbearers were Todd Cain, Danny Forbes, Danny Reddick, Justin Cain, Joshua Cain and Randy Caldwell. Honorary Pallbearers were John R. Vinson,III, Mike Oakley, Randy Pepper, Bill Butler, Buster Stewart, Ray Burnam, Ray Burnam II, Dennis Thomas, Winford Mitchell, Walter Prince, David DeHart, Rex Cain, Jess Aldridge, Ronald Anderson and Harold Knight.

Music was provided by, Rev. Steve Spitzer vocalist and instrumentalist, Pam Witty organist and Justin Reynolds vocalist.
