Mr. Stallons died following a short illness at 8:29 a.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Trigg County Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1944 in Trigg County to James Edward Stallons and Zelma Gray Stallons of Cadiz.
He was a member of Hope Harbor Church in Trigg County where he taught Sunday School. He was a graduate of Murray State University and Austin Peay State University. He was an educator, dealer of rare coins and a car salesman.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Stallons; one brother, Jimmy Stallons and one son, Chris Lake Stallons.
Survivors include his wife, Trinidad,”Fely” Stallons of Cadiz; his mother, Zelma Gray Stallons of Cadiz; two sisters, Martha Jean Edwards (and husband Jim) of Cadiz, and Rita Stewart of Cadiz; two daughters, Jerri Dawn Turner (and husband Scott M.) of Bowling Green, and Rita Faye Stallons, Phillipines; three grandchildren, Julia Rhea, Justin Michael, and Jordan Leanne Turner, all of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jamus Edwards, Lance Stallons, Russ Stallons, David Stallons, Stephen Stallons and Scott Turner. Honorary Pallbearer is Wayne Olin serving on active duty in South Korea.
Music will be provided by Jordan Leanne Turner, pianist and Russ Stallons, vocalist.
