Mrs. Ledford passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at her home in Roaring Springs. She was born September 19, 1918 in Christian County.
She was an active member of Roaring Springs Christian Church since 1946. She was a homemaker and a past member of the Wallonia Homemakers Club.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law and five sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Annie Ledford of Union City, Tenn., Carl Lee and Brenda Ledford of Trigg County, Dean and Terry Duncan of Cadiz, Mary Ann and Dennis Krol of Frankfort, James Ray and Gay Ledford of Trigg County, Tom and Suzanne Ledford of Trigg County and Steve and Sherry Ledford of Trigg County; 21 grandchildren- Kimberly Carbera, Jodie Hale, Kelli Hooks, Jarrod Ledford, Carla Choate, Scott Duncan, James Duncan, Mary Margaret Krol, Denise Ouimet, Bradley Ledford, Angie Humphries, Matt Ledford, Mark Ledford, Shane Autry, Shellie Tidwell, Jodi Fox, Kyle Schneider, Kayla Schneider, Nicholas Schneider, MaKayla Lea and Rebecca Lea; and 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Robertson, mother Willie Robertson, husband Richard A. “Dick” Ledford, two children in infancy and two brothers, Carl Robertson and Melvin Robertson.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Matt Ledford, Mark Ledford, Scott Duncan, James Duncan, Bradley Ledford, Jarrod Ledford, Wallace Choate, Jr., Jerry Hooks, Mark Humphries and Chris Ouimet. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class, Elders and Deacons of Roaring Springs Christian Church. Music will provided by the Rev. Eric Harris and Lucy Harris.
