The Rev. Steve Meredith performed the candlelight ceremony before an altar accented with tall crystal vases of calla lilies and ivy on white pedestals and a candelabra holding red tapers. Candles burned in each window reflecting the stained glass.
The bride is the daughter of Khristen Knight of Cerulean and Tim Hancock of Hopkinsville. Grandparents are William and Harryette Hancock of Lafayette and Granville and Sandra Woodard of Hopkinsville.
The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Susan Sanderson of Cerulean. His grandparents are Richard and Margaret Brame of Hopkinsville and the late O. B. and Narlon Sanderson.
The bride chose Jessica Frye of Lafayette as her Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were cousins of the bride, Kaitlyn McCain of Lafayette, Morgan Watkins of Honey Grove and friend Brittany Dawn of Seattle, Wash. The flower girl was Alayah Hargrove, cousin of the bride and daughter of D. J. and Kathy Hargrove of Cadiz.
The bridegroom chose his brother, Wesley Sanderson of Cerulean, as his best man. Groomsmen were his cousin, Dustin Turner of Cerulean; friend, Brandon Blankenship of Hopkinsville; and brother of the bride, William Hancock. Ushers were Brock Knight and Justin Knight, the bride’s step - brothers. The ring bearer was Braxton Hargrove, cousin of the bride and son of D.J. and Kathy Hargrove of Cadiz.
The guest register was attended by Austin Fuller, the groom’s cousin, and Lane Riddle. A reception followed the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. Servers at the reception were Tammy Wadley, cousin of the groom, and Reda Fuller and Patsy Stagner, the groom’s aunts.
Khristen Knight and Michelle Marin hosted a bridal shower at the Knight home. A family shower was hosted by Pansy Stagner and Tammy Wadley at the Stagner home. A bachelorette party was given by the bride’s friends. A bachelor party was given by friends of the groom.
The bride is employed at Tractor Supply in Hopkinsville.
The groom is employed at Tobacco Way Farm in Hopkinsville. The couple are making their home in Cerulean.
