Funeral services for Willa Debish, 88, of Cadiz, formerly of Park Ridge, Ill., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge, Ill. Father Ronald Kalas will officiate. Burial will follow in the Maryhill Catholic Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz.

Mrs. Debbish died of natural causes at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at her home in Cadiz.

She was born September 12, 1922 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Morton L. Monson and Willa Catherine Chalder Monson.

She was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Aurora. She was also a long standing member of the PEO; member of the lota chapter of Alpha Phi; member of the Federation of International Cooperation; member of the Mary Seat of Wisdom Church; past president of the Credit Woman’s Club of Chicago; avid bridge player and golfer. She worked as an auditor for the Price Water House, tax preparer and financial consultant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Edward Debish; two brothers, Chalder and Harry Monson; and one sister, Leona Monson Schaeffer.

Survivors include one brother, Morton Monson of Phoenix, Ariz.: one son, Michael Joseph Debish (and wife Marie Audrey) of Kenosha, Wis.; one daughter, Elsan Cook (and husband Eugene) of Cadiz; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
