Mrs. Redd died of natural causes at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton.
She was born November 17, 1925 in Trigg County to the late Will and Annie Blanche Jones Lawson.
Mrs. Redd was retired from Princeton Health Care as a cook. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Milton Redd; one sister, Sue Oliver Stagner; two sons, Melvin David Redd and Frederick “P-Do” Redd; one daughter, Rachel Redd Marshall; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Stallons of Hopkinsville and Jesse Cameron of Hopkinsville; four sons, Tommy Redd (and wife Donna) of Wallonia, Ross “Joe” Redd (and wife Judy) of Princeton, Robin Redd (and wife Vanessa) of Princeton and Tandy Redd (and wife Lisa) of Princeton; one daughter, Annie Hardin (and husband Howard) of Russellville; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and one special niece, Patricia “Pat” Hancock of Princeton.
Pallbearers were Jordan Redd, Jeffrey Redd, Cory Redd, Shane Redd, Eric Hardin, Chad Hardin and Josey Slaton.
