This week, we are going to take a look back to year of 1938. More specifically we are going to examine a basketball program from the 5th district tournament from that very year.

Local resident, Mr.Charlie Morris, made all this possible. Charlie brought me a program from the 1938 tournament. A lot has changed since then. The 5th district consisted of ten teams in 1938. Four of them were from Trigg County including Trigg County High, Cadiz High, Rogers High and Golden Pond.

I hope you enjoy looking at the rosters. You may even see the names of some kinfolk who were on the teams. I am even offering a meal on me at the Cadiz Restaurant for the first member of one these teams to give me a call. Enjoy the nostalgia.
