Mrs. Jones died of natural causes at 3:45 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
She was born January 30, 1924 in Trigg County to the late Porter Mason and Leotis Sanders King.
She was a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, St. Elmo Jones; three brothers, J. D. King, Jewel King and Millard King; and four sisters, Addie Lee Mathis, Grace Williamson, Lucille Griffin and Rebecca Fowler.
She is survived by two sons, Charles W. Jones and Kenneth W. Jones (and wife Carla) all of Cadiz; two daughters, Virginia Rye (and husband Ted) of Palmyra, Tenn. and Carolyn Keller (and husband Ronnie) of Cadiz; one sister-in-law, Georgia King of Cadiz; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Douglas Weakley, Amanda and David Hatcher, Kyle W. and Brenda Jones and Michael E. Keller; and six great-grandchildren, Grace, Luke and Paul Weakley, Allyson and Lindsey Hatcher and Brayden Jones.
Pallbearers were Doug Weakley, David Hatcher, Kyle Jones, Michael Keller, Terry King and Bobby Hyde. Honorary pallbearers were Zach Smith, Aaron Hendon, Ray Griffin, Leon Williamson, Bennie Fowler, Clarence King, Mike Jones, Danny Reddick, Jimmy Hampton. Wayne Hyde and Tommy Mitchell.
