Dear Neighbors:

I hope you all read the June 20, 2011 article “TCH Giving Teddy Bears to Children.” These bears were created and are handmade by the volunteers of the Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary. The bears are placed in the emergency room at Trigg County Hospital and ambulances to comfort children who find themselves in unfamiliar and often frightening surroundings.

To date, over 1,000 teddy bears have been made. In the past, the Cadiz community has generously supported the “Teddy Bear Project” with supplies and donations. Your support is needed now to help keep this project going. The Auxiliary is in need of the following items-Fabric in lightweight cotton (one yard will make four bears) and polyfill stuffing.

Please help the Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary continue this important project as they help our children through a difficult time in their lives. Your donation/supplies can be dropped off at the “Gift Box” inside the hospital Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.,, or given to any Auxiliary member. If you have any questions, please contact Dannye Wagner at 924-5738 or Dee Eggers at 522-4797.

Thank you for your support.

Johnetta Brooks, Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary Publicity Chair
