Jennifer passed away as a result of an automobile accident on the morning of Friday, August 12, 2011 in Metropolis, Ill.
She was born on January 21, 1977 in Clarksville, Tenn., the daughter of Kelvin Ray and Virginia (Bumpus) Wallace. She married Sean Ditterline on January 28, 2006 in Cadiz, and he survives.
Jennifer was a 1995 graduate of Trigg County High School in Cadiz, received her associate’s degree in graphic design from Hopkinsville Community College and attended Murray State University. She was a graphic arts designer with Sun Publishing, the parent company of The Paducah Sun newspaper. She loved the arts and enjoyed drawing and photography. Jennifer liked to cook for her family as well.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Kelvin Ray and Virginia (Bumpus) Wallace of Cadiz; her brother, Bradley Ray Wallace of Cadiz; her paternal grandmother, Helen Rose Hamblin of Crescent, Okla.; several aunts and uncles and by many friends, including special furry friend Pattie.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jesse James Wallace, and by her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Lois Bumpus.
