I have noticed for several days that the grass around the Main Street liquor store was extremely high and called one member of our city council. Several days later, Friday Aug 26, the grass had been cut, but they blew it out in the middle of Wharton Road and Main Street.
We have a Tourist Commission and the Economic Development Commission trying to draw people and new business to our city/county, and we have a liquor store that apparently doesn’t care about the overall success of our city or county, only their own bottom line.
If I had done this I would probably been cited for violating one of our ordinances.
