A private memorial services for Frank Denton, Jr., 71, of Cadiz, will be held at a later date. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family chose cremation.

Mr. Denton died of natural causes at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

Frank Denton, Jr. was born October 22, 1939 in Clarksville, Tenn. to the late Frank Denton, Sr. and Christine Halliburton Denton.

Frank was a retired carpenter and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Clarksville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Harper Denton.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Denton of Cadiz; one brother, Charles Richard Denton of Lebanon, Tenn., one sister, Edna Denton of Dover, Tenn.; one son, Frank Gregory Denton of Cadiz; two grandchildren, Gregory F. Denton and Marissa Denton; and four great-grandchildren, Brandon C. Denton, Brian Taylor Denton, Austin D. Denton and Brooklyn Denton.
