Funeral services for Samuel Ray Brandon, 57, of Bumpus Mills, Tenn., were held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. The Rev. James Edwards officiated. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres. Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Samuel Ray died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 in Bumpus Mill, Tenn.

He was born July 6, 1954 in Bumpus Mill, Tenn. to the late Hammond and Irelia Brandon.

He was a member of Cave Spring Church in Cerulean and was self-employed in masonry and farming.

He is survived by three brothers, Sherman Brandon of Cerulean, Frank Brandon (and wife Minnie) of Bumpus Mill, Tenn., and John Brandon (and wife Kyra) of Cadiz; and two sisters, Almeda Wright (and husband Charles) of Cerulean and Frances White of Cadiz.
