Funeral services for Mark Hardy, 47, of Hopkinsville, were held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Norman Ellis officiated. Burial followed in the Green-hill Mem-orial Gar-dens in Hopkinsville. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Hardy died of natural causes at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Bradford Heights in Hopkinsville.

He was born December 29, 1963 in Hopkinsville to Linwood and Marcella McGee Hardy, Jr.

Mr. Hardy was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella McGee Hardy.

He is survived by his father, Linwood Hardy, Jr. (and wife Gail) of Cadiz; one brother, The Rev. Steve Hardy (and wife Debbie) of Clinton; one sister, Tina Blackwood (and husband Terry) of Franklin, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Milburn Hardy, David Hardy, Ray Oliver, Daniel Hardy, Donald Dunn and Gayle Outland. Music was provided by Terry Blackwood, pianist and vocalist.
