Funeral services for Brenda Lee Edmonson, 47, of Lexington, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev. Mark Choate officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Mrs. Sears passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She had worked in child care and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her mother, Brenda Mart of Cadiz; husband Stanley Sears of Lexington; step-mother Louise Parker of Cadiz; four sisters, Nancy Ann Cmela of Cadiz, Terri Lynn Blakeley of Cadiz, Lisa Ann Carter of Lexington and Penny Smith of Cadiz; two step-sons, Jeff Sears of Lexington and Mike Curtsinger of Lexington; close friend Bobby Fields of Lexington; one grandchild, Natalie Rader; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Claude Wilson Edmonson and one sister, Mandy Pearl Drennan.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Blakeley, Matthew Skinner, Joshua Harper, Stephen Edmonson, Dakota Cmela, Carloss Greenwade, Eddie Skinner and Cecil Edmonson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Fields, Ray Edmonson, Tim Edmonson, Tanner Mullins, Ty Mullins, Keanna Blakeley, Mikayla Blakeley and Cheyenne Cmela.
