Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. Mr. Jones was retired form Johnson Controls, Inc., was a member of Caldwell Blue Springs Baptist Church, the American Legion Post No. 74 in Cadiz and was a US Army Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jones of Cadiz; one son, Roabert Jones of Illinois; two step-daughters, Flora Armstrong of Cadiz and Vicky Smith of Paducah; one step-son, William Thomas Armstrong of Cadiz; nephews and nieces Bill Compton, Larry Crutcher, Joe Crutcher, Dorothy Gamboe and Wanda Smith. Also surviving was his “Little Buddy” Landen Finley.
He was preceded in death by his father Haywood Francis Jones, mother Ola Mae Puckett Jones, and two sisters, Jessie Compton and Robbie Crutcher.
