Judge Jamus Redd, who is the judge for the 56th District, said the case was continued for another pre-trial hearing for Oct. 25, and also stated that the court could set a date for an adjudication hearing on that same date.
The Commonwealth indicated that more charges could be lodged against the 15-year-old freshman and the 16-year-old junior, thus the date for the adjudication hearing has not yet been set, Redd said.
Adjudication is the term for a trial in front of a judge in juvenile court, and like all over juvenile court proceedings it is closed to the public, Redd said.
