Mr. Cortner passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011, in Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Cortner was a retired machinest for the former GAF Chemical Plant in Calvert City with 30 years service. He as a US Army veteran and a member of Cerulean Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Gracey Maybell Brashears Cortner of Cerulean; two brothers, Jerry (Margery) Cortner of Cobb and David (Lynn) Cortner of Cerulean; three sisters, Betty Cortner of Cerulean, Peggy (Rex) Cain of Cadiz and Carolyn Cortner of Louisville. Also several nieces and nephews survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Nuel Cortner.
