Funeral services for Christopher Brian Hughes, 38, of Hopkinsville, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. The Rev. Nick Sandefur will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Christian County. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Christopher Hughes died Sunday, November 20, 2011.

He was a pilot for Ingram Barge Company of Paducah and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.

He was born April 9, 1973 in Caldwell County to Charles and Yvonne Hamm Hughes.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Swinney Hughes of Hopkinsville; mother, Yvonne Hamm Hughes of Hopkinsville; father, Charles (and wife Eva) of Cadiz; one brother, Charles Robert Hughes (and wife Dana) of Hopkinsville; and two sons, Triston and Peyton Hughes of the home.
